2008 happenings
It is july and hot in St Petersburg ...the ac is running in my studio and i am hoping to create some cupcake paintings this week. Why Cupcakes? well i love cake and love to look at and eat cupcakes so why not?
I spent may and june in Chapel Hill NC and my show at The Mad Hatter BakeShop and Cafe will be up until I return for the Arts in the Meadow show in Meadowmont Village Sept 6 and 7.
I also was juried into the Centerfest Art Festival in Durham NC and it will take place Sept 20 and 21.
This year i created many new works despite a "frozen shoulder" that kept me from painting for 3 months. The shoulder is better and now i am back to the easel.
In June i went to Art Camp at Nimrod Hall in the Mts of Virginia. A fine week of painting despite the heat and no AC.
I have painted alot of flowers this year and will include some on this post.
My website has been update so all the new paintings for sale are on the site.
